Create Google Review Link (In Just 60 Seconds!)

How do you get customers to write reviews for your Google listing, other than doing great work?

You make the process as simple as possible.

That’s where the Google Review Link comes in.

By sending these customers a URL to your listing, all they need to do is click it, rate it, type in a few words, and click Post.

Sounds great, but don’t know how to get started?

That’s what you’ll learn today.

(Heads-up! To make both methods work, you need to have a listing on Google My Business. Click here for step-by-step instructions if you haven’t.)

Step 1. Search Your Business On Google

Enter your business name in Google Search.

Google will show your business listing on the right.

Step 2. Click Review Button

Scroll down till you see Write a Review

Click it.

Step 3. Copy URL

You should see a review pop-up.

Head over to the address bar and copy the URL.

And… that’s it!

Method B: How To Create Google Review Link Via Google My Business

Step 1. Sign In To Google My Business

Go to Google My Business and sign in to your account.

Step 2. Click Review Form Button

Google My Business will direct you to your dashboard.

Scroll down and click Share review form on the right.

A pop-up will appear.

Click the pencil icon to customize your profile’s short name.

Why do this?

One, it boosts brand recognition. Two, it makes it easier for customers to find you on Google Maps and Search.

Click Apply.

Tadaa, you just created your unique link.

You can pretty much send this Google Review Link anywhere.

If it’s WhatsApp, Facebook, or Twitter, click the appropriate button, and Google My Business will direct you to the channel of your choice.

Here’s how it works if you were to click on the Twitter button. Note how it prefills your Tweet with your business listing and Google Review link.

What if you want to include this URL in a ‘Thank You’ email?

Log in to your email marketing platform and start a new email.

Write your email copy and include the URL. Both links from Google Search and Google My Business will work just fine.

Using SendFox as an example, enter your Google Review link and click Save.

When users click on the link, they will see a pop-up that looks like this:

Cool, right?

But easy there, tiger. Your job’s only half-done.

Now, you’ll want to show off these ratings and reviews on your website.
